The Foto Frenzy Camera Skills Course will provide you with all the knowledge and skills you need to better understand your camera.
You’ll be guided through your camera’s important functions by experienced photography tutors who’ll take the mystery out of terms like aperture, shutter speed, ISO & exposure and help you navigate the menus, buttons and dials that are the key to unlocking the potential of the modern digital SLR. You’ll be shown how to set-up your camera for the best results and learn which settings to use for a variety of subjects and lighting conditions.
Theory mixed with practical demonstrations.
Expert advice enabling you to combine technical skill with creativity to produce rewarding images. All camera controls will be covered and you’ll be introduced to many creative techniques that will improve your results straight away.
Learn photography fundamentals interspersed with practical photography sessions, all with the advantage of shooting a wide range of subject matter using your own equipment, or a loan DSLR if you’re participating pre-purchase. The photo opportunities offered will provide the opportunity for you to bring the theory you have learned into practice in the real world.
– [Session 1 - Saturday 10.00am-4.00pm] Camera functions, controls and handling and; lens effects. Composition; using light and; shooting technique.
– [Session 2 - Sunday 10.00am-4:00pm] Practical shooting session putting new-found skills into practice. Review of images; useful accessories; recap.
– 12 hours of tuition.
Here is your chance to spend quality time under the guidance of experienced photographic tutors, giving you the assistance that you require to produce rewarding and creative pictures.
Completion of this course will result in you being in control of your camera and able to capture those cherished memories, exciting events and fleeting moments.
Your course will have a maximum of 12 participants and a minimum of 2 experienced instructors who are Accredited Members of the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP).
